Struggle for Life

She completed all her responsibilities..brought up her children, nourished them
with all delicacies, decent clothing, taught them mannerism, to be generous and
kind towards humanity and accept things as they are....she gave them good education
even in crises to make them stand on their feet....she made them tough to stand
strong in life with her powerful lessons. She asked them to be like a light
house in ocean.

After completing a huge responsibility of marrying each one of her daughter and
placing them in safe hands, she felt very satisfied and happiness oozed out of
her eyes. She thought she is free now with all her responsibilities.

Now she wanted to give peaceful and cheerful life to her retired husband who was her
actual strength behind all this. both planned to move around holy places
together. After long time they found time for each other. Moments of happiness
arrived. She asked her husband to make jewellery of her choices to rejoice the
moment in a proper way.

She demanded for the ring which is worn by a new bride, the one which she lost
years back for her children`s education. The ring was made and she wore it
merrily in her fingers!......fingers which are trembling!...fingers which
depict that she has grown old !

Oh!....she is old and ill!....yes! she realized her illness today!....she is ill
since ages but never gave a thought to it seriously!......she forgot herself
for her family and their responsibilities!....many years passed by making a
family live happily..but now when she actually thought about herself,... is the
time left for her?? Is her body ready to take herself to places which she
longed for with her husband??....many queries arrived in her sharp mind. She
questioned all this to Lord.

Lord answered her hastily...."NO!!"

"Please Lord!.listen to me!". "few more months..please"....She begged for life....
"it`s my time now to relax and see life closely..but..not in this way!"....
"Where`s my husband?".... "Where are my children??"......she screamed weakly
lying down on bed in ICCU. Her dimmed eyes could not see her near ones
surrounding her. She wide opened her grey, dimmed eyes to see her loved
ones..she could not see nor hear them. She could not talk her last word cos
broad n thick L shaped ventilation pipe did not let her do that.

"why???......wats happening lord??.....please answer me"....she screamed and
that was the last beg she made to Lord who made her silent forever.

We all stood at her helplessly and saw her sleeping peacefully..she is my MOM!....my
dear Mom who never gave up things easily throughout her life, could not resist
this time and after long struggle for life, she gave up and surrendered herself
to Lord..

..I LOST
HER!......FOREVER! ON 5^th NOVEMBER.

Cosmetic Surgeon.She asked me to do this for her, I swear...

How nice life would have been if we could have detached our body parts and get it serviced or replaced.

The conversation among the people would have been like this:

· I am unable to walk today; I left my legs with my doc for repairs. I got my grandma's legs so I cannot walk fast. I would have liked my father's pair of legs; he is a sports man U C.

· My hand was paining yesterday. I went to an orthopedic Doc. He had many pairs of different varieties like thin, fleshy, hard, soft etc. Nothing was suiting me, finally he advised me to go for a plump one till the fresh stocks arrived. Now I appear like a Macho!! On the streets, people are afraid of me and girls just freak out seeing me!!

· I had a cracked heel and it was paining tremendously. My doc asked me to take rest. As I had lots of work at office, I applied cream on my legs and hung them in my room. Now I am managing with my neighbour's legs.

· Shanu:Why r u not talking?
Nimesh (Explaining in sign language): I gave my vocal chord for servicing. I have to appear for singing auditions tomorrow. But guess i can manage with my nose coz nowadays singers become famous if they are nasal more than vocal!

· Once a man on his way out, took his eyes, but forgot to put his head on. He was surprised to see the street all-empty. "Is it Sunday today?" he thought. But everyone on the street was petrified and as a result of such havoc amongst the public, the police arrested him. He could not understand the problem and only when he took his hand to scratch his head did he realize that he had forgotten his head at home. Finally the judge sentenced him to be 'hanged till dead' on the condition that he should come to the court, the next day, with his head on!
